How in the hell am i supposed to decide on the color i’d want on the 2017 mustang? I mean both Grabber and Lightning blue look spectacular (the later especially in direct light...) but then again so do race red and ruby red! Even the yellow looks great and gives a very unusual spin on the car!
Granted, I’m not putting an order down until august, but the fact that i’ve been thinking about this for the past 3 months (and still am not able to decide) is bugging me.... Right now i think i’m most likely going to do grabber with black roof/wheels, or if not that a Lightning blue with black wheels and (god help me) ceramic interior. If only the blues were offered with saddle.....

How about all of them?

i mean i’m coming from the VW world, so a harlequin stang would not be out of the question!

Mmm the Grabber is yummy, but so is the yellow!
The grabber with black roof and wheels is perfection.

Would you regret any of them? If not, just pick the one that feels right. AKA Grabber Blue do you really need to even thinkaboutitwhyareyouevenaskingthisquestionit’sobviouslytherightchoicehere

hahahah i love the grabber but lightning blue would look so right with the ceramic leather.... only problem is a light leather=jean stains all day

i really like that combo tbh.... i’d probably do a black ducktail spoiler on it as well

I’m a fan of Burgundy Velvet
on my awd v6 turbo-stang sedan.

Ceramic leather isn’t an option on the Recaro seats, if you want those.

screw the recaros, you can’t get those with heaters and coolers! I care about the amenities, not the bolstering! and besides, I’ve driven a focus ST and fiesta ST with the recaros. the amount of back pain they caused me was so bad after just 30 minutes that I was looking for a reason to get out of the car fast

I want to get my mom in to one of these. it's in her budget, but she'd hate the fact it's automatic I think

I’d go for uncommon colours. The Grabber Blue, the dark red, even the yellow.
Plain red Mustangs are fairly common.

Hmmm you can’t get Ceramic leather with the SC package either. I thought you were supposed to be able to get a Mustang however you want.
After playing with the configurator and considering all the options, I’ve decided a Grabber Blue with white stripes GT350 with the electronics package is the way to go.

Your mom sounds cool.

Lightning Blue or Ruby Red. Everyone will have Grabber Blue and Race Red.

I like that the Ruby Red comes with grey wheels instead of black. Or are both an option with the performance pack?

That's awesome

Grabber blue with the black wheels. It'll certainly stand out!

if I had $60k I’d have one but since I’m about $20K short a GTPP will suffice

she’s never owned an automatic car. hates the crap out of autos. she is also a pretty damn good driver (I’ve witnessed her drift a mustang on a test drive, much to my amazement and much to the dealer's terror) so I guess she's alright :)

ooooh I should!!!!

yeah both are, but black for me looks better, more contrast

I know but they’re quintessential America! I will probably go blue or maybe even white now tbh

Just finance it for ten years like everyone else! Or save some money, skip the stiff riding PP and mod the car yourself. Maybe add a supercharger.

My mom learned to drive in a manual Datsun, and she’s the one who taught me to drive stick. And when she bought her last car a 2014 Sonata she said she HAD to have the 2.0t because it was the fastest sedan she’d driven since her Maveric Grabber. Some times moms are cool.

If you really want a unique color, you can go for a 2012-2013 Mustang Sedan Focus Titanium in Frosted Glass Metallic. Now that’s an awesome Ford.
(I'll show myself out)

get the DCT as well. we both know how good those are ;)

well here’s the plan: I’m ordering the car.
the idea is to put anywhere between 10 and 20% of the car’s MSRP down as a down payment on it. then when the car arrives, sell the GLI privately (I’m guessing $11-$12k for it...) and then give that to the dealer/refinance it, and then pay off the remaining $20k over 2-3 years

That’s a good way to do it, though I’d be tempted to find out of my dealer is a Roush dealer , because you can roughly double the 5.0's power for about $8k.

it's not but tbh I don't want to supercharge it yet. I want to do everything around the blower first (exhaust, driveline, brakes, suspension.....) so that I don't break the car when I punch it
